The Power of Flowers in Feng Shui

Feng shui
  • First impressions are what people remember most. Flowers in the entrance way is a warm and inviting way to lead guests into your home.

  • Place flowers in places that you frequent, like placing wonderfully smelling flowers at your desk. Flowers give a positive outlook to the rest of your day.

  • Have live plants in as many rooms as possible. Plants which have coin shaped leaves seem to be the best.

  • Bring 'Good Luck Bamboo' into your home in groups of odd numbers (1,3,5,7 etc). These will replenish the good energy within the room.

  • Make sure that when you remove plants from the garden or home that they are replaced quickly.

  • As with feung shui, you can add plants or flowers in groups of 3's to increase the 'good energy' surrounding your home.

  • Another great idea is to light your outdoor garden or walkway. The combination of flowers and lighting will illuminate your entrance resulting in a welcoming feel to you and your guests.

  • 3 Chinese Coins tied to a red ribbon hung from your entrance will invite 'auspicious money' to you. Make sure that you cut the ribbon in lengths divisible by 9".

  • Outside waterfalls are especially helpful in creating a more relaxed and inviting environment.
